Unfamiliar Paths
September 15, 2012 By M. J. Maynard

You have probably heard a lot of the recent political debate about who is responsible for building someone's small business.  One thing I know for sure about the Sunday Bells small business is that God should get all the credit for building this one.  All the inspiration, development, and any future success is directly from His leading.

Early on in this venture, He led me to a promise from Isaiah 42:16 (NIV):  "I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth.  These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them."  I have relied on this verse over and over as I have delved into the world of self-publishing, business start-up, and ecommerce.  All of these areas were definitely "unfamiliar paths" to me!  God has made so many "rough places" smooth, and I know that I can rely on Him to continue to do so in the future.

Have you had any "unfamiliar paths"?  What verses have been helpful to you?
