The GOD CAN!!!
July 6, 2013 By M. J. Maynard

The God Can

A friend at church recently gave me this special label to put on an empty coffee can, and it has turned into a great inspiration for me.
I have found my "God Can" to be a tangible expression of faith in the prayers that I bring to my Savior.  I have been writing the need on one side of a slip of paper, and dating it.  When the solution comes, I put it on the back of the same paper.  There is something about seeing God's answers in writing that helps me remember His work in all of the problems in my life.
A "God Can" could be a good project for the little ones in your care.  Most of us have art and scrapbooking supplies sitting around, and decorating a can would be fun to do together. I'm sure the children in your life will benefit from putting in their prayer requests and recording the answers. The "God Can" could build a childlike faith that will last a lifetime.
